Kyle Kuzma is playing the best basketball of his career. The forward has been at a high level for weeks and last night was the Magic’s scourge by endorsing them 27 points and 22 rebounds that were key for Washington to end up winning 100-102.
Kuzma’s performance was memorable. His touchdown came with an excellent shooting accuracy, finishing with a 10 of 19 on shot, including a 3 of 6 on 3-pointers. Globally, what really matters, we have that no Wizards player had combined at least 25 points and 20 rebounds since Chris Webber in 1997… Big words.
I’m really focused on what to do. I take care of my body every day. I just have to make sure I have the right energy to go out and compete, “says Kuzma, who emphasizes that he hadn’t rebounded so many since high school, when he captured 19 in a game.
Despite his deployment and the 20 points contributed by Bradley Beal, the match was far from comfortable for the capital. In the first half they were down 10 points and in the last quarter another eight. They knew how to turn it around and be more successful in the final moments. Orlando had one last chance, but Gary Harris’s pitch was blocked by Beal.

The Magic don’t lift their heads. With last night there are nine defeats in a row for a painful 2-15 record at home. To be exact, they have not won in their territory since December 1. Against the Wizards not even Terrence Ross’s 32 points were enough. The guard he was excellent from the bench and between the end of the third quarter and the beginning of the last he scored 20 consecutive points for his team, something that no one in the Magic did since Tracy McGrady in 2003. Asked about the result, Ross explains that they will not lower the arms.
“The results have not been what we would like, but we are standing firm and we are learning and growing. We are going to overcome this pothole at any moment.
Beyond the guard, FRanz Wagner went up to 16 points and Cole Anthony had 12; yes, with a painful 4 of 17 in field goals.
