Israeli aircraft targeted a school belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) housing thousands of displaced people in the northern Gaza Strip, leading to the death and injury of dozens.
Citizens spoke from inside Al-Fakhoura School, which was subjected to Israeli bombing. He said: An eyewitness to the massacre said that the bombing targeted the displaced people while they were at school, and he pointed out that the young children were in this place and had not eaten their food yet.
The video shows the effects of the bombing inside one of the rows where the displaced people took shelter and housing, where bloodstains covered the floor of the place.
Another witness who lost members of his family in the bombing spoke while crying: “4 people from our family have disappeared. There is nothing in this place except civilians, no resistance and no Hamas fighters. Why are we being bombed? There were children and women in the room.”
Regarding the nature of the injuries, he said: “All of their bodies had their hands or heads cut off…they were all in pieces.”
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza told Al Jazeera that the bombing of the school resulted in 12 martyrs and more than 54 wounded so far.
