The Bahraini Ministry of Health announced the discovery of infections with the mutated Coronavirus in the country, through the continuous monitoring and analysis process, and called on everyone to fully adhere to the precautionary measures to limit its spread.
The National Team for Responding to Coronavirus in Bahrain said that “in view of the developments and data that are being studied periodically, and based on the recommendations of the National Medical Team, it has been decided, starting from Sunday January 31 for a period of three weeks, to suspend attendance and limit attendance to distance learning in government and private schools, and higher education institutions. Governmental and private schools, kindergartens licensed by the Ministry of Education, government rehabilitation centers and homes affiliated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, nurseries, and private training centers and institutes licensed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, with the exception of members of the administrative, educational and technical bodies of all the aforementioned institutions. When attendance will continue in private and private schools and centers for people with special needs.
The national team added, “It has also been decided to stop providing internal services in restaurants and cafes, starting from January 31 for a period of three weeks, and the extent to which all precautionary and preventive measures are adhered to to limit the spread of the Coronavirus will be taken into account, to work on opening or closing sectors, as new developments.” .
