Akapo shared another photo showing an x-ray of his foot, noting that two toes had been broken, and said he would work to recover from his injury quickly.
Thanks to the people who have been concerned, I have the 2nd and 3rd goal broken. Now it’s time to recover and die next weekend 😶🤕👍🏾💪🏾 pic.twitter.com/PNjasg0OjI

Tweeters interacted with Akapo’s injury, noting that Hazard’s intervention was violent and deserved more than the yellow card, which was announced by the match referee, Matthew Lahoz.
One of them commented on the image of a Cadiz player, “This is a terrible thing you see in a horror movie,” while another wrote, “That injury from Hazard to Acapo and he did not receive a big penalty, since he is a lowly club player, it will not have any effect.”
Hazard did really kill his foot💀 https://t.co/GaKyiBrb3j

That kick, that injury is done by Akapo to Hazard and there is little that falls on him, but since he is the player of a humble club, it will not have an impact https://t.co/lbeivNLrDn

More than the wound, I would worry about that necrosis in the big toe. https://t.co/BatfADGrH1
