A judo player is beaten to death for refusing to surrender and surrender to his opponent

A young judo player named Suleiman Tursunbayev died after being severely beaten after winning a judo tournament in Turkmenistan, according to local media.

The newspaper “Turkmen.news” reported that there were attempts by unknown persons to force Tursunbayev, 14, to surrender in the final match of a judo tournament in front of his opponent, a student at the Institute of the Ministry of Interior in Turkmenistan, but the teenage athlete categorically refused to comply, to win. He faced a well-deserved confrontation and was crowned champion of the tournament that was held in early February.

The newspaper indicated that Tursunbayev and his coach were subsequently beaten by unknown persons, and the coach was left at the scene of the attack, while the attackers took the teenage athlete with them.

After a while, passers-by found Tursunbayev on the street, to call an ambulance, but he was dead.
