The Nineveh Governorate Police Command, in northern Iraq, announced today, Sunday, that it had found a mass grave containing the remains of 400 people, who were killed by ISIS terrorist gangs.
In a press release, she stated: “A mass grave was found that contained the remains of 400 victims slain by ISIS terrorist gangs.”
She added, “The cemetery is large and was found inside the village of Hamidat in Tal Afar district, west of Nineveh, and it is the second of its kind in a few months.”
A few days ago, the Iraqi government began its efforts to investigate and collect information and evidence about the Al-Khasfa and Al-Antar pits in Nineveh, without setting a date for opening the two mass graves and recovering the remains of the victims.
