Thiago Alcantara and Mohamed Salah scored two goals in the second half, to keep Liverpool winning the Champions League, knowing that he had earlier secured his lead in the group and qualified for the final price.
And through the social networking site “Twitter”, the Liverpool fans praised what Salah presented during the 70 minutes against Porto, and renewed their request to the “Reds” management to give the Egyptian star a new contract to keep him for as long as possible inside “Anfield”.
One of them wrote sarcastically, commenting on the delay in renewing Salah’s contract: “Will you give him a new contract, when he breaks a record in the Milan match?”, while someone tweeted: “The King .. he is the best in the world.”
Another fan wrote: “A new day, a new record, it’s just Mo Salah’s stuff.”
He described Salah as the best after equalizing Gerrard’s number in the Champions League and tweeted: “Salah is the best player on the planet.”
Another expressed his admiration for Mohamed Salah’s shot at Porto and tweeted: “What a finish! He is a very good man.”
While one of them commented on the possibility of Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool and wrote: “If this man’s contract expires without renewing it and he goes to another club, that will be a great loss for Liverpool, and the Reds fans will never forgive them.”
For his part, German Jurgen Klopp told BT Sport: “It was a good victory, we could have done better and be calmer in the first half, but we were a little rushed.”
He added: “It’s not strange when you put a team whose players haven’t played a lot of games together. Some people think we might play an easy game but we weren’t here for that, Anfield tickets are all sold out, so we want to go and win.”
