The Greek coast guard announced that a woman drowned off the Greek island of Lesbos, while it managed to save two others, on Friday, after they fell from a rubber boat crowded with dozens of migrants.
The boat arrived on Lesbos earlier, with 24 people reporting to the Greek coast guard that 3 women had fallen into the sea during the voyage from the Turkish coast to the island.
Earlier this month, the Greek coastguard found the body of a migrant near a sinking boat off the coast of Lesbos.
Last September, at least 3 people were killed when a boat carrying migrants sank off the Greek island of Crete.
