Mexican club defender “Necaxa” Unai Bilbao suffered a terrible injury during his team’s match against Atlético San Luis, on Saturday, in the Mexican Soccer League.
The match witnessed a painful event in the 78th minute when Unai tried to cover the ball from his opponent with his body and fell after contact between the players on the ground outside the boundaries of the stadium and hit his knee with a nail carrying one of the advertising signs.
Unfortunately, the sharp metal nail tore Unai’s knee, unable to continue the match, and was replaced.

The match ended with the victory of the injured player’s team, Nykaxa, with a goal without a response thanks to a penalty kick in the 90th minute.
Despite the three points, fans will remember what happened before that to the 26-year-old.
It is reported that Unai joined the team last season, and previously played in Atletico San Luis.
