Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a Palestinian who attempted to carry out a ramming attack near the Anata checkpoint northeast of Jerusalem, without causing injuries, according to Israeli media.
According to local Palestinian websites, the young man was left bleeding after he was shot.
Hours earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a Palestinian by bullets fired by the occupation forces in the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
The occupation forces stormed the Horsh Al-Saada area, west of the city, fired light bombs in the area, bulldozed streets and destroyed infrastructure, which led to a power outage in several neighborhoods.
Local sources reported that resistance fighters detonated an explosive device and clashed with the occupation forces in the eastern region of Jenin. Resistance fighters also opened fire on the occupation soldiers near the village of Triangle of Martyrs, south of Jenin.
Later, sources reported to Al Jazeera that the Israeli army withdrew from the city.
