Today, Wednesday, dozens of people participated in the Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, to protest against the failure to provide the Corona virus vaccine to Palestinian refugees by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
The protesters called on the UN Relief and Works Agency to provide the refugees with the vaccine, as the body responsible for providing humanitarian protection for refugees, and responsible for the life and health of the refugee in all areas of his presence.
The protesters also called on the “UNRWA” agency to stand up to its responsibility to provide all the necessary medical and therapeutic equipment and supplies, and to prepare clear plans to overcome the economic, social and living consequences of the outbreak of the epidemic, the state of quarantine, and the disruption of income sources for many categories of refugees, in addition to creating field clinics and allocating A special budget for intervention in the camps.
