Russia warned on Thursday that the strikes launched by the United States and Britain on Yemen may lead to destabilization in the region and at the regional level, during a meeting in Moscow that brought together prominent officials from Russia and Yemen.

The embassy confirmed that “the missile and bomb strikes launched by the United States and Britain on Yemen were condemned, which may lead to destabilizing the situation at the regional level.”
In turn, Abdul Salam said in a statement on the “X” platform, “During the meeting, the situation in the region was presented, especially what is happening in Gaza in terms of condemned and rejected genocide crimes, and the need to intensify international efforts to pressure the United States and Israel to stop it.”
He pointed out that “Yemen's position in support of Gaza and the American-British aggression it was subjected to in order to protect Israel was made clear, and that Washington is first to stop the aggression against the Gaza Strip and bring humanitarian aid into it, not to go towards militarizing the Red Sea.”
The Houthi spokesman explained, “The latest developments in negotiation and discussion with Saudi Arabia were reviewed, mediated by the sister Sultanate of Oman, regarding developments in the Yemeni political process.”
