The slip of the tongue of the Libyan Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein Atiya Abdel Hafeez Al-Qatrani, during his swearing-in, sparked a loud noise among the parliamentarians.

Al-Qatrani said, “I swear by God Almighty to perform my duties with all honesty and sincerity and to remain loyal to the objectives of the“ Al-Fateh Revolution of September ”that preceded Muammar Gaddafi’s assumption of power in the country, to correct his words“ for the objectives of the February 17 Revolution.
Following the slip of Al-Qatrani’s tongue, the hall was filled with laughter and booing from the deputies.
Today, the Libyan government was sworn in in a wide political and diplomatic presence.
