The match between Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah in the 13th stage of the Qatar Football Stars League was canceled in the 42nd minute after Al Wakra defender Othman Coulibaly suddenly fell on the field, while his team was 1-0 down on Saturday.
The medical teams at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in Al-Gharafa Club intervened to rescue Coulibaly, and he was quickly transferred to the hospital in order to receive the appropriate treatment.

And beIN SPORTS channel said that the player’s health condition has improved, and he is undergoing treatment in hospital.

Muhammad Al-Sulaiti, the media official of Al-Wakra Club, said in an interview with the Qatari Al-Kass channel that the player’s condition is stable, and indicated that the decision not to complete the match was taken to ensure the safety of the injured player and an understanding of the psychological situation of the players present on the field who were affected by this sudden accident.

The Qatar Stars League said in a statement that Coulibaly’s condition is stable after suffering a heart attack, and thanked the medical staff, ambulance personnel and doctors for their efforts during this incident, and indicated that the match will be completed at a later time and with the same result when it was stopped.

Al-Wakra FC occupies fifth place in the Qatari league with 19 points, 4 points behind Al-Rayyan, who is in seventh place.
