(CNN) — Taylor Swift’s fans — known as Swifties — have shown they’re willing to do whatever it takes to make it to an Eras Tour concert, even if it means missing work.
A Cincinnati Swiftie did just that, she told local news station WKRC: She took time off work to attend a concert on Saturday, disguising herself to try to hide her identity.
Seemingly inspired by the singer’s “Anti-Hero” music video, the Swiftie’s costume mirrors the costumes worn by the ghosts featured throughout the music video.
In the pictures that circulate through social networks The Swiftie is seen wearing a blanket over her head and wearing sunglasses throughout the interview with WKRC Local 12 correspondent Annie Brown.
“Here are two Swifties, who will remain anonymous, who called in sick at work,” said Brown, who explained that they traveled to Cincinnati from Louisville days earlier to line up overnight in hopes of getting some of the merchandising of the tour
The Swiftie told the correspondent that it is “very true” that she missed work to attend the show, and that she did so to take “an 11-year-old girl” to see the concert for the first time.
The wildly popular Eras Tour has showcased a side of the fandom not seen since The Beatles came to the United States decades ago.
Crowds of ticketless Swifties flock to concert venues in their respective cities across the country to linger in the parking lot and sing from afar, and one Swiftie even got a job as a security guard to watch the concert after failing to get a ticket for Internet.
Concertgoers also turn out in Swift-inspired outfits, like the anonymous Swiftie from Cincinnati who, while trying to hide her identity, found a way to pay tribute to the 12-time Grammy winner.
