The Pemex refinery in Deer ParkTexas, suffered a brief power outage Tuesday afternoon after a tornado passed near the site.
Pemex was working Tuesday afternoon to stabilize the units that were put out of production by the interruption of power supply at its complex in the United States, the sources said.
The refinery, which has the capacity to process 312,500 barrels of oil per day (bpd), is also working to restore the supply of steam needed to begin returning the units to normal production.
