Assistant Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian considered that US President Joe Biden should learn from history.
“Biden must learn from history … we should talk to the Iranian people who are capable of the power of logic, not the logic of force,” Abdel-Lahian wrote in a tweet on Twitter.
He added, “There is no doubt that negotiations will not take place with America in light of force and threats at all.”
He continued, “The White House should focus on negotiating first with its own people, who have become bipolar.”
The Iranian official stressed that “the embargo measures against Iran are breathing their last.”
Mr @JoeBiden should learn lesson from history. With great nation of Iran, one must talk w / power of reason, not w / coercion. Under force & threats, #Iran won’t negotiate w / US. The @WhiteHouse needs to talk first with its polarized society. Sanction against Iran is on its deathbed. pic.twitter.com/0sBepSHElp

And the US President’s National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, announced earlier, that “Washington is establishing indirect contacts with Tehran to discuss the nuclear deal.”
Iran refused to discuss any additional files except for returning to abide by the nuclear agreement signed in 2015, and demanded that the United States take the first step and lift its sanctions.
For its part, the United States will first require Iran to return to its obligations under the agreement before Washington returns to the agreement.
