He called for the immediate and permanent opening of the Rafah land crossing so that it would be a safe passage through which aid and medical supplies would flow to the Palestinians and to hospitals and various relief centers.
He also called for the urgent delivery of fuel to the Gaza Strip’s hospitals before the humanitarian catastrophe, which he said was already worsening, worsened, and so that medical teams could provide health services.
He added, “We remind the world that we are on the cusp of a new crime, after announcing the complete cessation of communications and Internet service in the Gaza Strip tomorrow, Thursday, due to running out of fuel.”
The spokesman also warned of “the serious repercussions and disastrous consequences resulting from the announcement of cutting off communications and the Internet from the sector.”
He said that this cut “will contribute to completely concealing all the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army around the clock against hospitals and against 2.3 million people living in Gaza.”
