In his last appearance (audio and video), last Sunday evening; The spokesman for the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, “Abu Ubaida,” continued the fierce psychological war that the “Palestinian Resistance” in the Gaza Strip is waging, and in which it is excelling, against the Israelis. A government, a people, and an army, in parallel with the fierce fighting it is waging against the occupation army, which is heavily armed and equipped.
Kill parents and grandparents
In a fiery sermon, with strong argument and logic, supported by the heroism of the men on the ground… Abu Ubaida bragged about what he described – quite aptly – as the most important industry possessed by the Al-Qassam Brigades, which is “the Palestinian human fighter.” Describing him as a “resistance, a fighter,” who possesses tremendous determination, will and determination. To confront the “occupation”, fathers, grandfathers, family, children and friends fought.
Abu Ubaida’s description of Palestinian resistance fighters in general does not entail any exaggeration, as it is well-known among the general public and specialized military experts. It was shown and documented by video clips published by the military media of the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades in Gaza. The “Palestinian fighter” is solid and stubborn. He humiliated the pride of the occupation army, overturned the lie of deterrence and Israeli superiority, and pushed his soldiers to flee the battlefields and scream like children. He also referred thousands of them to Israeli psychiatric clinics, in addition to the dead and wounded. To the point that occupation soldiers thought The resistance fighters in Gaza are ghosts.
Hamas, Jihad, and principles documents
Where did the “Palestinian resistance” come from with all this challenge and this steely will, which was shown in the video clips of clashes and attaching explosive devices “manually” to tanks and detonating them? Why would he risk his life like this, without fear or apprehension of death? How were his will and conscience prepared, educated, and strengthened to this extreme degree of solidity?
The resistors in Gaza – and outside the West Bank – mostly belong to the Hamas movement (Al-Qassam Brigades), and to a lesser extent to the Islamic Jihad (Jerusalem Brigades), according to the principles documents of the two movements. Both of them have a religious reference and oppose the Zionist entity, as an aggressive, racist, and expansionist project. There are slight intellectual differences between them: Hamas is politically flexible, while Jihad is more stringent.
Armed resistance to the occupation is a legitimate duty for both movements. In order to liberate Palestine (between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea), with Jerusalem as its capital, without giving up any Palestinian land. The resistance, according to the Islamic doctrine, must adhere to the values and morals of war in Islam, such as not killing women, children, and the elderly, and being gentle with prisoners. This gentleness and good treatment were witnessed by the Israeli prisoners who were released during the seven-day truce in the current war.
Combat Doctrine…and the Blessed Land
Any soldier or fighter, Palestinian or other, is motivated by a “combat doctrine,” which, according to experts, has three components: The first is physical, which is the act of fighting itself, its methods and tactics. The second, intellectual, relates to the conflict’s vision, foundations, and goals. As for its third component, it is doctrinal or moral, and it is for the Palestinian resistance, the “Islamic faith,” which assigns “Palestine” a high status, as it includes “Jerusalem,” the Blessed Land, the landing site of the Prophet Muhammad – may God bless him and grant him peace – and his ascension, and the birthplace of Christ. , peace be upon him.
The principles documents of Hamas and Jihad indicate this meaning. The occupation of Palestinian lands, the desecration of holy places, and the desire to rid Al-Aqsa Mosque of Zionist control are all a strong incentive for the Palestinian resistance to fight the Israeli occupier. This explains the significance of choosing the name “Al-Aqsa Flood.” .
Victory or martyrdom…and Major General Al-Duwairi
According to the military expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, the Palestinian fighter has the audacity and courage even though he knows 99% that he may be killed (in order to obtain martyrdom)…but he does not hesitate at all, as a result of his preparation and cultural, mental and doctrinal upbringing. This is because the doctrine of the “Palestinian resistance” – whether he is a Hamas, a jihadist, or someone else – can be reduced to the slogan: “It is jihad… victory or martyrdom,” with which Abu Ubaida concludes his speeches and military statements. The resistance is between two goals: either achieving victory and liberating Occupied land…or martyrdom for the sake of God; Hoping to win the divinely promised paradise.
This is not everything in the psychological, moral, and combat formation of the Palestinian resistance. There is another incentive and motivation for him. I mean this huge amount of Nazi holocausts and repeated massacres every few years, which the occupation army inflicts on the people of Gaza, which creates hatred. It was oppressive in the souls of everyone who experienced it, whether a child, a young man, or a man.
The volcano and the desire for revenge
No one – from the people of Gaza or the West Bank – who lived through such a hideous humanitarian catastrophe, and anything similar to it, can tolerate or forget its events, and the killing it caused of his or her family, or of his son, brother, or friend, before his eyes. Inevitably, such a person is possessed by a feeling of extreme oppression, as a result of these horrors, and the inability to help those dear to him.
By the nature of things, and the human psyche, these scenes turn into a volcano that does not stop boiling and the intense desire for revenge and retribution against these Nazi Zionists, who have a record of massacres against the Palestinian people, since the 1940s and the Nakba of 1948.
What do you expect from a person who lived through these holocausts and had them engraved in his memory…or who heard from his fathers or grandfathers the stories of how they lived with the massacres carried out by Zionist gangs in Palestine, and what they suffered from, killing and displacement?
Certainly, he will seek the opportunity to take revenge and join the ranks of the resistance, sacrificing his life to punish the killers of his family and loved ones. Hence, Abu Ubaida indicated in his last speech that this hateful Nazi entity has created an enemy and fighter for him, present and future, in every Palestinian and Arab home.
The human resistance fighter, the mujahid, that Abu Ubaida spoke of, is indeed the “most important weapon” of the resistance, which will write the end word for this criminal entity.
