Abu Ubaida added that Al-Qassam fighters killed 16 Israeli soldiers and wounded dozens with varying injuries, and carried out 42 military missions that left a number of soldiers dead and wounded.
He continued that during these missions, the invading Israeli forces were targeted with missiles, anti-fortified devices, and individuals, clashing with them from zero distance, and targeting their rescue teams.
Abu Ubaida confirmed that today the Al-Qassam Brigades blew up two houses and two tunnels for Israeli soldiers, and also blew up a minefield for the occupation’s vehicles and soldiers, in addition to two sniper operations and targeting a helicopter in the skies of the Gaza Strip, and shot down two reconnaissance planes and captured a drone.
He also said that the Qassam artillery bombarded the headquarters, field command rooms, and military concentrations with mortar shells and short-range missiles in all fighting axes in the Gaza Strip, and rained down the city of Tel Aviv in the center of the entity with a barrage of “Al-Maqadma 90” missiles.
Clashes intensified between Palestinian resistance factions and occupation soldiers on Monday in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood and Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, and in Khan Yunis in the south of the Strip.
The occupation army announced the withdrawal of more forces from the northern Gaza Strip and the demobilization of reserve soldiers to focus the fighting in Khan Yunis.
