After a storybook run in the 2024 Olympics from Simone Biles, an old video resurfaced of the gymnast – showing her competitive spirit from day one.
The 27-year-old’s redemption run has been historical, gathering three gold medals and a silver in Paris.
Now the most decorated Olympic gymnast, footage of a younger Biles getting upset after falling off the vault was posted by X page Historic Vids.
In the 23-second clip, Biles hit her stride running up to the table but failed to land on her feet after the flip. Nonetheless, Biles posed for the judges and stepped out of the mat.
She then proceeded to cross her arms while who appeared to be her coach attempted to console her. Still upset over the vault, she marched away with her arms still crossed.

Biles has come a long way since, winning seven gold medals, two silvers, and two bronzes in the Olympics across three games.
The feat is made even more impressive by her withdrawing from competition at the Tokyo Olympics, where she bagged a bronze in balance beam.
Furthermore, Biles holds 23 golds, four silvers, and three bronzes at the world championships.
Her run in Paris began with a gold medal in the team competition, which she followed up with another gold in the all-around event.
