In Afghanistan, it was announced that a car bomb was detonated near a police station in the western province of Herat on Friday evening, which resulted in the deaths of 7 deaths and more than 50 injuries.
State Governor Syed Abdul Wahid Qatali stated that among the dead were women and children, and that at least 53 civilians were among the wounded.
Qatali indicated that dozens of nearby homes and shops were also damaged, and rescuers rushed to the site of the explosion to help those trapped under the rubble.
No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing, but local officials accuse the “Taliban” movement of it.
