The agency did not mention the reasons for the bombing, whether it was military training or other goals.
The commander of the Israeli home front, General Uri Gordin, had warned that Israel would be exposed to 2,000 rockets and missiles attacks every day during a future war with the Lebanese “Hezbollah”.
During his participation in a conference in Jerusalem, Gordin said that this would challenge Israel’s military and civilian defense capabilities, but added: “Enemies on the various fronts must know that if necessary, we will employ a military force that has never been seen before.”
Israel believes that Hezbollah today possesses an arsenal of about 150,000 projectile missiles, some of which are distinguished by the ability to hit anywhere inside the Jewish state.
