Airbus It said Thursday that it intends to hire more than 13,000 people worldwide in 2023.
The new hires will serve to support the growth of the commercial aircraft and meet the challenges in defense, space and helicopters, the company said in a statement, adding that some 7,000 of these positions will be newly created.
More than 9,000 of the new posts they will be in Europe, and the rest throughout the company’s worldwide network.
Airbus noted that by 2022 it had already hired the same number of people and that it currently employs more than 130,000 people worldwide.
