Egyptian Ahmed Al-Ahmar led his country’s national team to victory over his Russian counterpart (28-23) in the meeting that brought them together this evening, Wednesday, in the first round of the second round of the World Handball Cup.
Red starred remarkably, and scored 6 goals, although he did not complete the confrontation for fear of aggravating an injury to his knee, and a man was chosen for the match, which was held in the covered hall of Cairo Stadium.
The Egyptian Minister of Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, was keen to send a special congratulation to the team players who gathered around the red upon receiving the award, and celebrated with him.
