Al Hilal, competing in the Saudi Professional Football League, announced – on Thursday – that its Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou, was injured in the posterior muscle.
Al-Hilal stated on the X social media platform that the results of medical examinations showed Bono suffering from a “dilation” in the posterior muscle, without revealing the duration of his absence.
Bono was injured during Morocco's 5-0 victory over Central Africa in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers last Saturday, and he left the field 32 minutes after the start of the match and Mounir El Mohamady participated in his place.
