Today, Sunday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi extended an invitation to his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, to visit Iraq for more joint cooperation, according to a government statement.
A statement by Al-Kazemi’s office stated, “The latter received the ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Salem Ghasab Al-Zaman, and cooperation between the two neighboring countries was discussed, and the strengthening of joint economic relations and the follow-up of grants that had been presented to Iraq during the reconstruction conference hosted by the State of Kuwait in 2018.” .
He added, “Al-Kazemi assured the Kuwaiti ambassador that Iraq is keen on building the best ties and means of cooperation with the State of Kuwait in all sectors, in a way that secures the stability of the region and the well-being of its people.”
