Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi directed to take five measures to prevent the spread of the mutated Corona in the country.
The measures included the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety, related to preventing the entry of new strains from closing borders and banning travel to all countries where infections with the new strain of Corona appeared.
Al-Kazemi urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iraqi ambassadors abroad, in coordination with countries and manufacturers of “Covid-19” vaccines, to expedite the supply of the vaccine to Iraq.
The measures also included: “Not allowing the vaccine to be distributed among citizens other than health institutions without the exclusive approval of the Federal Ministry of Health.”
He stressed the importance of preserving the health prevention measures for holding parties and the funeral marquee to prevent the spread of the epidemic, and also called on the Ministry of Education to continue working for one day for schools.
And the Iraqi Ministry of Health recently warned of “the danger of the spread of the new strain in Iraq,” noting that it “is working hard to maintain the continuity of the improvement in the current epidemiological situation, and the continuation of controlling the epidemic.”
