Egyptian star Omar Marmoush scored a goal and assisted two other goals in which he led his team, Eintracht Frankfurt, to defeat its guest, Bayern Munich, a hard lesson and beat them 5-1 – today, Saturday – in the 14th stage of the German Football League.
Union Berlin knew the path to victory for the first time in about 3 and a half months, and beat its guest, Borussia Mönchengladbach, 3-1. In the remaining matches, Werder Bremen defeated its guest Augsburg with two unanswered goals, Freiburg defeated its host Wolfsburg with a clean goal, and Heidenheim defeated its guest Darmstadt 3-2.
At Dutch Bank Park, Frankfurt inflicted on its guest, Bayern, the defending champion for the past 11 seasons, their first defeat in the current Bundesliga season.

Frankfurt advanced by 3 goals after 36 minutes, through Egyptian international Omar Marmoush (12), Eric Ibimba (31) and Hugo Larsson (36, assisted by Marmoush).
Joshua Kimmich responded with a goal for the Bavarian club in the 43rd minute, but Eric Ibimba scored the second goal for him and Frankfurt in the 50th minute, and Ansgar Knauf scored the fifth goal in the 60th minute (also created by Marmoush).
The victory was enough to bring the Bavarian team to the top spot equally with Bayer Leverkusen, but the defeat stopped its score at 32 points, 3 points behind the lead, while Frankfurt raised its score to 21 points in seventh place.
Frankfurt repeated its 5-1 victory over Bayern, after defeating them with the same score in 2019, a defeat that cost the former Croatian coach of the Bavarian club, Niko Kovac, his position.
