The scenes included overhead photography from a drone, which showed monitoring of an Israeli force stationed west of Erez, followed by filming of Phalange fighters emerging from one of the tunnels and advancing toward that force, then opening fire toward the force, which in turn began responding with fire.
The clip also showed the targeted vehicles catching fire during the clash.
The Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Sunday that “its mujahideen carried out a landing operation behind the concentration lines” of the Israeli occupation army near the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing, and said that it bombed the site with mortar shells and rockets.
On the other hand, the occupation army said that it killed a number of militants and wounded a number of others, adding that it succeeded in preventing them from infiltrating the Erez area after they emerged from a tunnel opening in Gaza.
