Egyptian presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said that the contact dealt with following up on a number of issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic, security and energy fields, in addition to exchanging views on regional issues in the eastern Mediterranean, especially the developments of the Libyan file.
The Greek Prime Minister expressed his country’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation with Egypt, whether on the bilateral level or within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism between Egypt, Cyprus and Greece, in a way that contributes to pushing forward the distinguished cooperation between them, as well as continuing consultations and coordination on issues of concern Joint.
The Egyptian President affirmed Egypt’s pride in the aspects of constructive cooperation with Greece and the positive development it is witnessing, whether at the bilateral level or within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism with Cyprus, appreciating in this regard the progress made within the framework of that tripartite mechanism, stressing Egypt’s keenness to develop various aspects of cooperation with Greece, including contributing to the interests of the two peoples.
