Alaa Mubarak, son of former President Hosni Mubarak, commemorated the first anniversary of his father’s departure, which falls today, February 25, 2020.

Alaa posted a video on his account on the Twitter site, which includes a scene from the military funeral of Mubarak, accompanied by a recitation of the Qur’anic verse: “O reassured soul, return to your Lord, satisfied and satisfied
Alaa commented on the video: “The first anniversary of President Mubarak … we ask God the Almighty to cover him with the breadth of his mercy and forgiveness and to make his resting place in Paradise .. Indeed, to God and to Him we shall return.”
Muhammad Hosni Mubarak was born on May 4, 1928 in the village of Kafr Al-Musayleha in Menoufia Governorate. After completing his secondary education, he enrolled in the War College and obtained a bachelor’s degree in military sciences in 1948, and then obtained a bachelor’s degree in aviation sciences in 1950 from the Air Force College.
Hosni Mubarak died on February 25, 2020 at the age of 91, and took part in a military funeral in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and announced the official mourning for three days.
