A college football weekend bereft of any major upsets produced little change near the top of the Amway Coaches Poll. The first four teams all won in convincing fashion to retain their positions with just two weeks left in the season.
Alabama easily remains No. 1 after blowing past LSU. The Crimson Tide received 59 of 62 first-place votes. Notre Dame is again comfortably in the No. 2 spot after pulling away from Syracuse and earning a pair of first-place nods. Clemson and Ohio State also stay put at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively, with the Buckeyes retaining a single No. 1 vote.
Texas A&M nudged ahead of Florida for the No. 5 position, as both the Aggies and Gators took care of business on the road. Cincinnati stays put at No. 7. Miami moves up to No. 8, and Indiana vaults ahead of Georgia into the No. 9 slot, the first top-10 ranking for the Hoosiers since USA TODAY began administering the coaches poll in 1991.

Iowa State and Oklahoma, set to square off for the Big 12 title in two weeks, check in at 11 and 12, respectively.
BYU tumbles from the eighth spot to No. 16 after coming up a yard short at Coastal Carolina in the game of the day. Unfortunately for the Chanticleers, the lack of other upsets ahead of them only allowed them to gain one position to No. 13.
It was a rough weekend for the Pac-12. Oregon and Washington fell out of the poll after losses. The league does get a new representative, however, as Colorado moves in at No. 22.
No. 20 North Carolina and No. 24 North Carolina State give the ACC a couple more ranked members, and Texas returns at No. 23.
Marshall and Oklahoma State are the week’s other dropouts.
