‘Shocked at the dishonesty of some people’: Furious Aldi shopper claims her favourite laundry detergent was switched with green liquid by another customer
- Woman purchased washing detergent at an Aldi supermarket in Melbourne
- She was shocked to discover the liquid was a different colour to the usual
- Woman then took to social media seeking answers as to how this happened
- She believes a customer swapped the contents and then was issued a refund
A shopper is demanding answers after noticing something very different about her favourite brand of washing detergent.
The woman purchased a bottle of Sensitive Trimat Advanced Concentrated Laundry Liquid from her local Aldi supermarket in Carrum, Melbourne.
She was stunned to see the liquid was green, as opposed to it usually being white in colour.
The woman was adamant the product had been tampered with, possibly by another customer.

‘It’s very clear someone has swapped the contents of the actual product for another,’ she wrote on Facebook.
‘I only figured it must have been done at home then returned (to the store) to receive cash back. This is next level.’
Other people on social media weighed in, with one shocked at the shopper’s allegation.
‘Wait… are you saying someone did this in store? They ‘swapped’ liquid from one bottle to another? How is that even possible? I’m so confused,’ one woman responded, according to Yahoo News.
Another felt it could have been the result of a manufacturing error, while a third commented that ‘some people have too much times on their hands’.
The woman also revealed she plans to return the item to Aldi, and was ‘thankful’ none of her clothes or the family washing machine were damaged by the rogue washing detergent.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Aldi for comment.
