Alejandro Moreno assures that no other political persecution will double him, in view of the discussion of the electoral reform

Alejandro Moreno, president of the National Executive Committee (CEN) of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (AT), guaranteed that no further persecution against him will prevent him from voting against the initiative of electoral reform promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the Morena party.

“Any pressure, any persecution – which they have already done – does not scare me, nor do they bend me, nor do they throw me back,” said the PRI national leader, considering that hate speech and polarization should be avoided.

He assured that the construction of the “Va por México” alliance between PAN, PRI and PRD for the elections in the State of Mexico and Coahuila, which will be held next year, is a strength to also promote its consolidation towards the succession of 2024.

Within the framework of the 43rd anniversary of the Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (Copppal), Moreno Cárdenas reiterated that the parliamentary coordinators of the PRI, PAN and PRD in the Chamber of Deputies announced that their legislators will vote against the electoral reform of the government and Morena, considering that it hurts, weakens and damages the National Electoral Institute (INE). ) and the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF).
