The Civil Protection in the Algerian city of Laghouat revealed, today, Saturday, that 17 people were injured in an explosion caused by a gas leak in an apartment.

Al-Khabar newspaper said that two people sustained second and third-degree burns, while 15 suffered light injuries and shock.
Wall collapses, shattered windows and doors of two neighboring apartments, and broken windows of some cars parked near the building were also recorded.
Al-Nahar newspaper stated that the explosion occurred at 12:00 local time on the second floor of a building located in the Al-Mahfir neighborhood.
