The Russian Authority stated – in a statement today, Tuesday – that by the end of December 27, all 150 volunteers had been vaccinated with the first dose of the “Epivac Corona” vaccine, while 89 volunteers received the second dose of the vaccine.
She indicated that the first five volunteers aged 60 and over were vaccinated on November 21, and the remaining 145 volunteers will be vaccinated after that.
It is noteworthy that the results of the first stages of clinical trials of the aforementioned Russian vaccine, which were published in the famous medical journal “The Lancet”, showed a stable level of immune response by 100 percent among volunteer individuals, without any serious side effects.
