An alleged paedophile captured on CCTV being chased down by a teenage boy in an arcade in western Sydney has been charged with sexual assault.
Police will allege in court the boy, 13, was sexually assaulted by the man, 70, in a toilet block at The Kingsway near Wentworthville train station on Monday afternoon.
Disturbing CCTV footage shows the young teen chasing down the man afterwards while trying to attract the attention of others.
The footage shows the boy dressed in a white T-shirt with a school backpack and dark shorts, throwing a glass frame at the adult man’s back in a shopping arcade near the station.

The man allegedly starts running as the teen gives chase through the passageway, calling for help from passersby as he went, Nine News reported.
Shocked business owners can be seen emerging from their stores in the arcade as the boy gave chase.
The man, carrying his slippers in his hand, runs towards a taxi parked next to the station to allegedly make his getaway, jumping into the passenger side.
The determined teen catches up with his alleged attacker and is seen repeatedly pulling the passenger door open to stop the taxi from leaving.
A Good Samaritan came to the aid of the boy by calling triple-zero.

The man was arrested later by police and taken to Granville Police Station, where he was charged with sexual assault of a child aged 10-14.
He was refused bail and will appear in Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday.
Police spent the rest of Monday afternoon at the scene forensically examining the cordoned off toilet block.
