George and Amal Clooney have made their annual return to Lake Como, Italy. The actor and human rights lawyer typically spend their summers at their waterfront villa, but their arrival was postponed this year due to George Clooney’s commitment to the Broadway stage adaptation of Good Night, and Good Luck.
Earlier this week, the couple was seen arriving for dinner at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a frequent dining spot for them, traveling to the destination by water taxi.
For the occasion, Amal Clooney wore a one-shoulder, knee-length Badgley Mischka dress. The sequined silver garment featured a wraparound silver fringe on the bodice and hem. She completed the look with strappy silver heels, a miniature clutch, and her hair styled in loose waves.
This choice is consistent with the barrister’s penchant for high-glamour evening wear. In 2023, she wore a silver chainmail minidress by Rabanne for an outing on the lake, and for the 2022 Albie Awards, she chose a 1920s-inspired embellished gown by Versace.
