The German Geological Research Center of the GFZ reported that an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck southeast of the Croatian capital, Zagreb.
The center indicated that the quake occurred at a depth of tens of kilometers.
A strong earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale last December 29 struck central Croatia, with its epicenter at a depth of 5 km and 46 km from the capital Zagreb.
And the Croatian authorities announced that the tremor resulted in the deaths of 5 people and dozens of injuries.
