A passenger plane belonging to the Turkish “Pegasus Airlines” company, on Sunday, made an emergency landing at Istanbul International Airport, due to bad weather.
“Anadolu Agency” quoted sources at Istanbul Airport as saying that “a Boeing 737 passenger plane, coming from the northern city of Samsun, made an emergency landing at Istanbul Airport instead of Sabiha Gokcen Airport, due to bad weather.”
She added, “The plane landed safely on the runway at Istanbul Airport, which is located in the European part of the city, and then took off again to complete its flight to Sabiha Gokcen Airport.”
On Saturday evening, snow began in Istanbul, amid brisk winds and low temperatures.
