Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix looks sensational as she attends BBC Sports Personality Of The Year

December always marks one of the most prestige events in the world of sport – the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards. 

And Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix looked sensational as she graced the red carpet at the eagerly awaited ceremony at MediaCityUK in Salford on Wednesday.

The diver, 18, flashed her toned legs in a stylish red gown that boasted an off-the-shoulder neckline and thigh-high split.

Andrea, who is the daughter of First Dates’ Fred Fred Sirieix, added height to her frame with a pair of strappy black heels. 

The athlete styled her brunette locks into a ponytail and wore a light palette of makeup. 

The event comes after Andrea was named in the shortlist for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year after a stellar 2022.

Andrea, the 2020 winner of the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year, won seven diving medals across the Worlds, European Championships and the Commonwealth Games in 2022.

The diver started with a team bronze at the Worlds, before seizing two golds and a silver from this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, including a personal best in the 10m platform final. 

The Euros in Rome saw her also win two more golds, as well as team bronze. 

All roads lead to Paris 2024, where she will surely be in contention for a first Olympic medal, having finished seventh in her individual final on her debut in Toyko last year.

Speaking at the Commonwealth Games in August, she said: ‘I’m very, very excited for Paris. 

‘The preparations are already under way and I am excited to see what I can do. I came here with no expectations, I just wanted to have fun and improve. 

‘I made a decision to train even harder and it definitely worked. It has given me a lot of confidence.’
