One moment you’re in Dagenham discussing unsafe cladding… the next you’re raving in a DJ booth in a packed-out Ibiza club night.
Angela Rayner has been spotted busting her moves during a wild night out on the Spanish party island in a video posted by actress Denise van Outen at around 4am.
In the footage, the Deputy Prime Minister – who has previously boasted of all-night rave sessions fuelled by vodka – is seen wearing a red outfit as she dances along to a remix of Gotye’s hit song Somebody That I Used to Know.
It marked a remarkable turnaround from earlier in the day, with a photo shared on Ms Rayner’s X account at 6.50pm showing her meeting local officials in East London to discuss the cladding crisis.
The 44-year-old jetted out to Ibiza on Wednesday night for the rave at Hi Ibiza, which sells tickets for 100 euros (£84) and drinks packages of five beverages for 95 euros (£80), while bottles of water are priced at £11.
The video shows Ms Rayner turning towards a vast crowd of fellow partygoers before hugging the DJ, FISHER – clearly refusing to let her spirits be sapped by a doom-laden speech Keir Starmer delivered a day before warning of ‘painful’ times ahead.

The footage of her dancing in the DJ booth seems to suggest it was the early hours of Thursday morning, with a clock showing it was past 4am.
The 44-year-old has previously boasted of her 12-hour-plus ‘rave’ sessions while drinking vodka.
Speaking at an event at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, Ms Rayner revealed how she had just returned from a holiday in Spain where she had partied from mid-afternoon to sunrise the next morning.
The Labour frontbencher, who has been dubbed ‘Grangela’ at Westminster after she welcomed a grandchild at the age of 37, said: ‘The girls I was raving with are half my age, and I was like “I’m a grandma”.
‘I was proud of that. 4pm I started, and I got home at six o’clock in the morning when the sun was shining and I was like, ‘Yes, I can do it’.’
Asked if she did it ‘with or without chemical support’, she said she just had vodka.
‘You’ve got to go with the music, the vibes. You’ve got to be in the moment and it takes you,’ Ms Rayner added.
Since Labour’s general election victory, the Deputy PM has spent the summer working on Labour’s overhaul of planning rules.
Ms Rayner is also spearheading a series of controversial workers’ rights reforms.
In an Instagram post, which included the footage of Ms Rayner raving, Van Outen wrote: ‘@pikesibiza @hiibizaofficial @followthefishtv (Including a surprise booth rave up with Angela Rayner) @tshamusic’
