Los Houston Rockets Have signed the qualifying offer they had on Anthony Lamb to give him one more year guaranteed. This move ensures his position in the squad for the training camp that will begin at the end of September and for which each team can have 20 players in the running. The number of chips must be reduced to 15 standard contracts, so Lamb will again get a two-way contract that allows him to play in G League as well. The player finally arrived at the Rockets last March from the affiliate team.
Last season the forward played 24 games (3 as a starter) in which he scored 5.5 points and collected 2.9 rebounds per night in 17.3 minutes of play. His recent participation in the Summer League in Las Vegas has discovered him as a good defensive player, so he will occupy one of the two places two-way of the staff with Matthew Hurt. For now, Houston has its roster in place for the preseason after offering ten-day contracts to Armoni Brooks, Tyler Bey and Daishen Nix.
