APIAESCO will charge 4.6 million pesos for managing non-airport revenues at AIFA

The Ministry of National Defense (sedena) hired the company Audits, Projects, Engineering, Consulting, Studies, Supervision and Consulting (APIAESCO) to carry out the turnkey managed service for the reception of the facilities and use of assets (control of non-airport income) from Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).

Payment will be in the amount of 4.6 million pesos and the validity of the contract is for a couple of months (November and December).

Among the tasks that APIAESCO and a subsidiary, Soluciones Aeroportuarias OMEGA will carry out, are: the management of real estate contracts (commercial premises, office spaces, advertising, free spaces and contracts entered into with third parties related to concessions to offer transportation terrestrial (taxis and buses).

The hiring of the Sedena was through a public tender in which the chosen firm was the only one that participated.

However, during the current administration, the Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México (GACM) awarded, in the modality of direct assignment to APIAESCO to take charge of the service for the issuance and follow-up of work and service estimates, for which who paid him 34.1 million pesos.

Based on information from the airport, hiring a third party to perform the required services is based on their specialization and the need to establish a technological system that allows them to subsequently take charge of them.
