The press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Health, Heribsim Khatchatrian, confirmed that more than 20 people visited the medical centers after the earthquake near the capital, Yerevan.
And the Ministry of Emergencies in Armenia announced a 4.7-magnitude earthquake near Yerevan.
The ministry added in its statement: “The earthquake monitoring station of the Regional Seismic Protection Service recorded an earthquake 8 kilometers southeast of the capital, with a magnitude of 4.7 degrees on the Richter scale.”
And she continued: “The center of the quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, and the strength of the quake was at its center between 6-7 degrees.”
