It is noteworthy that, on Friday evening, protesters blocked a number of streets in the center of the Armenian capital Yerevan, demanding the departure of Prime Minister Pashinyan, following his signature of the agreement to stop hostilities in Karabakh.
Several days ago, the protesters cordoned off the government headquarters and nominated former Prime Minister Vazgen Manoukian to head the government.
For his part, Nikole Pashinyan announced on Friday that he would be ready to leave his post “by the decision of the people only,” and called on political forces to hold consultations on early elections in 2021.
