Jack Grealish has been doing extra gym work to withstand heavy tackles and add strength to Aston Villa‘s excellent start to the season.
Grealish was the most fouled player in the league last term and boss Dean Smith revealed the 25-year-old is working to prepare himself for more kicks.
He said: ‘His old youth team-mate is our strength and conditioning coach and he spends hours and hours in the gym working with him.

‘People always ask me what his best attribute is and it’s his balance. That comes from the strength work — people try and knock him over but he can go past people either way.’
Grealish starred as Villa notched up three straight wins to start the season before losing 3-0 to Leeds last week.
They will aim to return to winning ways against Southampton on Saturday.
