MARANA, Ariz. – At least one person is dead following a plane crash northwest of Tucson, police said.
What we know:
The Marana Police Department says the crash happened on Feb. 19 at the Marana Regional Airport, located near Avra Valley and Sandario Roads.
“There has been at least 1 confirmed deceased individual. Details are limited at this time,” police wrote in a Facebook post.
The FAA and NTSB will respond to the crash.
What we don’t know:
No victims have been identified. Details on what may have caused the crash are unknown.
