“I can confirm that at least one person was shot at Southpoint Mall,” he said. “We know there are a lot of people out there for Black Friday. We don’t yet have information on the condition of the victim or the apprehension of an attacker.”
The mall is currently closed and is being evacuated, according to Middleton.
